I love presser feet.
For those of you who are non-quilters, those are the attachments on a sewing machine that holds the fabric in place while stitching.
I used the ruffler presser foot for all of the quilts in my book, Frills.
Somehow my ruffler was damaged, and I went to get a new one...
The lady at the Bernina store asked me if I had ever tried the Gathering foot.
I had not, and so she gave me a demonstration.
I am in love!
I made this pillow with my new gathering foot.
I love the texture that it gives to the fabric. And it was so easy!

That looks like wedding dress texture! You better start practicing for Belle :)
So if I got ruffler and gathering feet I could make cool stuff like that pillow and the cover of your "frills" book? Where have I been? I did not know such things existed? I've got to look into this.
I hv both ruffler n gathering foot but never use it ....will try on it.
