Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe always makes the best cookies!
It is definitely one of my favorites.
Here it is:
Yield:  4 Dozen

1/2 C Butter
1/2 C Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 C Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 C Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
1 T Milk
1 t Pure Vanilla Extract
1 C Flour
1/2 t Baking Powder
1/2 t Salt (optional)
1 C Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well blended.  Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla.  In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.  Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.  Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.  Bake 9 to 1
1 minutes, or until edged are golden brown.  Allow to cool 1 minute on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.  Store tightly covered.

Thanks to Ghirardelli!
