Here is an easy way to fill up a niche, awkward space, or large wall. Gather a bunch of dessert plates that match your decor. If you do not own any, they are easy to find! I bought mine from Anthropologie. They usually have some on sale. Some other places you might find some are Target, Williams-Sonoma, Crate and Barrel, and Ballard Designs. Then go to Home Depot or Target and buy plate hangers. They are little brackets that you nail into the wall.
When hanging the plates you do not need to be symmetrical.
Just start by hanging one in the middle
and then work your way out to the edges.
I am going to try to collect Christmas plates this year and do the same thing with them during the holiday season.
What a fun way to have a collection!
