Quick Wall Art

Looking for something easy and inexpensive to do on one of your walls? Try this quick wall monogram.
First buy your letter. A lot of stores carry large wall letters, which you can find in a variety of sizes, finishes, and fonts. I bought mine from Pottery Barn Kids.
Use something in your house that has a large circle you can trace. I used a bowl for mine. Make sure that your letter will fit within the circle. Trace the large circle lightly on the wall where you would like your monogram. I then used a cup to trace the half circles around the outer edge to create the scallop. Trace them on the top and bottom first, so you are sure they line up, and then fill in the sides, being as even as possible. Paint inside the lines with a color that contrasts with your wall paint. Then trace small circles inside each scallop, and paint white.
Hang your letter, and your done!
Very fun!
